The Rady Children's at Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)  is staffed by a specialized team of neonatologists, therapists, nutritionists, lab technicians, pharmacists, chaplains and social workers who attend to each baby. A registered nurse who helps mothers and newborns succeed in breastfeeding.

Occupational and Physical Therapists
Specialty trained healthcare professionals who assist with your baby’s development, positioning, feeding and relating to its environment.

Medical Social Worker/Discharge Planner
These healthcare professionals can lend emotional support and communicate with your insurance carrier about coverage and authorization.

Unit Coordinators and Certified Nursing Assistants
