Important News About Our Contract with Blue Cross

We are currently in negotiations with Blue Cross for a new contract that covers the services we provide to all Blue Cross HMO/PPO commercial health plan members.

Our current contract is set to expire on March 30, 2018. Without a new contract, this facility will be an out-of-network provider for all Blue Cross PPO/HMO members beginning March 31, 2018.

At this time, patients with Blue Cross PPO/HMO commercial plans still have in-network access to our hospitals. This will only change if we are unable to reach a new agreement before March 30, 2018.

Despite our best efforts, we have yet to reach a mutual resolution with Blue Cross. While there is not a lot of time before our contract expires, we remain open to ongoing discussions to ensure in-network access for the more than 337,000 patients annually who rely on our high-quality provider network for their healthcare needs.
