The Emergency Department (ED) at Rancho Springs Medical Center plays an essential role in caring for the urgent health needs of residents of Southwest Riverside County. Our emergency room staff have access to advanced emergency medical technology, and work closely with professionals in other hospital departments, to efficiently pinpoint trauma and help save lives.
Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, physicians, nurses and other healthcare emergency professionals at Rancho Spring's ED provide treatment for unpredictable injuries and sudden illnesses such as:
- Chest, abdominal or severe back pain
- Broken bones, sprains, cuts or contusions
- Respiratory or skin infections
ER Reserve lets you request a time (up to 12 hours in advance) in the ER for non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses.
Emergency Medicine Just for Kids
Pediatric emergency medicine physicians from Rady Children's Hospital are onsite at the Rancho Spring's ED seven days per week to provide advanced emergency services for infants and children up to age 14. Learn more >

Specially-trained forensic nurses at Rancho Springs emergency department are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, including children, who have experienced sexual assault or abuse. Learn more>
Reduced Wait Times
Fast Track is an area of the Emergency Department in which people with non-life-threatening conditions, such as strains, sprains, cold or flu, can get the care they need more quickly than in the main ED area.
